Işıkcım kızım 2 gündür fotoğraf seçmeye çalışıorum,

Işıkla biz aslında biraz tezatız sanırım, o çok düzenldir
bense :)) bilenler bilir odamı biraz az biraz dağınığım ama
tamamiyle doğduğum günde ayın konumuyla olan bir nedenden dolayı
biraz dağınığımdır ve de bundan pek gocunduğum söylenemez, ama
canım arkadaşım ışık'ın yarı ömrü arkamı toplamakla geçer. şaka bir
yana el becerisi muhteşemdir, çantama ben hiçbir şey sığdıramazken
o her şeyi sığdırır :))hayır beni bu rahatlığa öyle alıştırmış ki
ankarada olmadığım zamanlar yokluğunu acaip hissediyorum :)
sanırım ayrı olduğumuz yegane nokta bu, öyle ki bu gecen yaz bodrumda
gecirdiğimiz bir hafta aslında ne kadar benzer olduğumuzu kanıtladı.
içimizde sakladığımız potansiyel kristal bir bardak adeta, yalnızca
ışığa tuttuğunuzda farkedilir :))
isimlerimizin aynı anlama gelmesi de bir tesadüf değilmiş, zaten şu tuhaf
hayatta tesadüf diye bir şey yok değil mi? bir şekilde bir araya gelmiş insanların
birbirinden alacağı mesajlar vardır, neyse işin felsefesine girmeyeyim.
yanyana sınıflardaydık Işık'la Hacettepe nin dumanlı koridorlarında bir sohbet
etmişliğimiz yoktur, ama kantinde bir iki kere takıldığımızı hatırlıyorum, hayat işte
mesun olmayı beklemişiz kanka olabilmek için, şenlikler sağolsun beaa :))
şimdi en yakın arkadaşım, can dostum, moskovayı fethetmiş bana en güzelinden bir matruşka getirmiş :)
bana cv lazım olur ararım, 15 dakkada CV'mi yapıp gönderir valla!!pek de güzel olur hani:))
15 gün arayla gittiğimiz Duman konserini hatırlıorum sonra bi kere daha gitmiştik ve cidden
duman olup çıkmıştık, sanırım bundan bi ay önce sayesinde etkinlik zehirlenmesi geçirip
haftasonunu yatakta geçirmiştim( 1 hafta içerisinde 1 opera 1 tiyatro ve bir konser böle bişiydi), evet bazen spontane şeklinde saat 5 de arayıp Hale akşam 8 de Rus balesi var,
bak bunlar Rusyanın yıldızları haa bi daa göremeyiz, ben "ama şey Işık bu akşam" dicek oldum Haleee davetiye 4 kişilik
senle ben tamam da diğer 2 kişiyi de sen bul, ben halaa ama ama,ve sonunda peki Işık :))aramızda geçen dialoglar hep böyle olur,
ben hep tamamımdır de mi Işık :))buarada bu en son gittiğimiz Rus yıldızları cidden süperdi ama sonlara doğru biraz sıkılıp çevreye rahatsızlık vermiş olabilirim öyle ki kankamız Alper bir daha ben bu kızlarla baleye falan gitmem dedi, eh olacağı da buydu zaten :))
Valla yaptığı en buyuk bombalardan biri de Tarkan'ı VIP olarak izlememiz olmuştu sanırım, yahu ben bu gittiğimiz konserlere girersem çıkamayacağım ama en sonuncusu Gevendeye de dem vuruyum, bu sefer de o beni kırmadı, ne olduğunu bilmeden geldi konsere, 15 dakika sonra Haleeeeeee ne bu böyleeeee nidaları yukselmeye başladı kendisinden ama sonraa
Hale bu nası grup yahu, vayyyyyyyy, bu nası muzik aman tanrım! cidden yaa nasıl bir konserdi öyle ne eğlenmiştik!

Dzien Dobry Ewa :)

i met her by luck :) she needed some information about Turkey,
and i tried to help her by email, this is the begining of our friendship :)
then we met, and i think became really good friends.. i can say, if i had had a sister i would have liked her to be exactly Ewa :P
Honestly before Ewa, i had no idea about Polond or Polish people, just i remember in 2005 at Eurovision, Polish entry was my favorite which couldn't make it to the final!
Now i have an idea about Polond, Zubrowka, their famous vodka! great taste! i was told to try it with apple juice. it is really nice.
I also got that Polish people are as friendly as Turkish people. it musn't be so usual to get well a person from a different country and culture. many times it seems to me i have known her for a long long time :)
i'm not sure if i am really good at telling her something about my culture, for example i think it was the second meeting, we went to Kugulu Park, and for the first time she and her friend Grzyna tasted Kokarec! and They simply loved it! Kokarec is roasted sheep's intestines where it is forbidden in Europe.
Anyway, since i'm into Alternative rock, She now knows every nice rock cafes and bars in Ankara! and i think She really got bored of it but she is not telling me just because she is so kind! and it seems on Thursday we are going to If performence hall to listen Zakkum another rock band :) Ewa promise as soon as possible i will take you to Biziz to listen Reggae band. i'm not exactly sure about the music style of Kakao but we will try!

Ewa mou hope your stay in Turkey always will be a great pleasure and fun!

Hayko Cepkin Konseri

Bir tesadüf eseri bir arkadaşımın "dur sana bir şarkı göndereyim" diyerek haberdar oldum Hayko Cepkin
adındaki müzisyenden, ilk dinlediğim şarkısı "fırtınam"
wayy bee dedirtmişti beni, sonra "hüzünle karışık", "eller aldı",
"görmüyorsun" ve diğer şarkılar da aynı güzellikte aynı etkiyi yarattı,
resmen çarpıldım! sonra Hayko'nun şöyle bir background'una baktığımda
cevherin nereden geldiğini anlamam zor olmadı..

ilk canlı performansı için takriben bir 6 ay önce kuzenimi yalvar yakar yorgun argın Ankara'nın en salaş mekanlarından (ama ben severim) Garage'a sürükledim.
yol boyunca Hale kıymetini ve hatırını bil nidalarıyla süren yolculuğumuz Garage'ın cidden garaj olan yokuşunda son buldu :) ama o da ne, hayatımda garage'ı o kadar kalabalık görmemiştim valla!! Nefes almak için bile extra bir çabaya gerek vardı..

hem ben hem kuzenim yaklaşık bir saat süren Hayko'nun canlı performansından oldukça etkilenmiş terkettik mekanı..
ve çok değil bir kaç hafta önce kuzenim arayarak Hale Hayko'ya bilet alıyorum diyerek olaya son noktayı koymuştu, hem Hayko kendisine ciddi bir fan, ben de bir bilet kazanmıştım :)) Hayko yine performansını kısa tuttu ama yine inanılmazdı, gercekten sesini kullanmaktaki profesyonelliği cok etkileyiciydi. Müziği de ruhunuza işliyor adeta bambaşka biri oluyorsunuz onu dinlerken, üzüntüleriniz, kederleriniz bir anlığına su yüzüne çıkar gibi oluyor.

işte böyle bir atmosferde konseri izlerken arasıra kuzenimin şaka yollu hayko yu kastederek "seviyorum lennn", sözleriyle kendime geldim :))
En yakın zamanda kendisini tekrar Ankara'ya bekliyoruz ve de artık çıksın ama albümü yeter bekleyemeyeceğim!!

ve yağmurlar yağdı sonra karlar,

içtik, cidden süperdi..

NEVER ENDING STORY

I have been to Istanbul recently, it was the second time I saw it, but this time was completely different then the first time. Actually before going to Istanbul, everybody has said different ideas about it. Some of them said it was too crowded but some of them said it was one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

So, I had some different ideas and I was a bit confused after listening these variant ideas.

It was also an interesting trip for my mother and uncle, as they have lived their teenage years in Istanbul. They returned Ankara many years ago with sad memories. Therefore they were quite eager to see Istanbul after a very long time. I have always liked observing people, so one of the aims of my trip was to watch them as well!

When I felt that there were only few minutes to get to Istanbul, my heart started beating faster! Eventually, I saw the enormous Bosphorus Bridge and I got really excited. It was really a weird feeling. It’s too difficult to explain what I felt when I saw the bosphorus at the first time. It’s something like entering the imaginary world. Oh my god it was really a big city! I couldn’t believe what I saw and started to watch the endless sea and the harmony between the sea and the city. I just tried to make the moment I felt longer when I was on the bridge! Something like listening to a very old song and at the same time watching the history. But with one difference, this time, all once existed and passed away leaders from different civilizations of Istanbul were listening to Istanbul with me and resting in peace.

My trip lasted only 3 days, but I have been to many places there. Once I found myself fishing, at the other time I found myself sitting on an antique chair and watching the happiness on the people’s faces. I guess this happiness comes from the sea. Of course it’s just an idea!

After watching Turkey-Senegal match and singing the anthems on the street, we finally managed to get to the place where my family had lived before. I was really impressed by the mansion that my family lived in. It is in the corner of a very narrow street. It seems quite old but very nice. My mother and uncle started to take photos of it. They were excited as a child! Every part of this house reminded them their childhood memories, some of good, some of bad!

In the last day we preferred to walk around. I think it’s the best way to get the feeling of living in Istanbul properly. When you feel that you get lost, you face to a marvelous and historic building then you feel relax and you think that you are living in the past. Before seeing this city, I didn’t know that history has such an impressive side that can even change someone’s mood easily from bad to good.

There have been written many beautiful poems about Istanbul, but actually it’s a poem that will never end!

OLİMPOS’UN ETEĞİNDE TANRIÇA ATHENA’NIN ŞEHRİ ATİNA

Atina geçmişteki güzellikleri yansıtmaktaki başarısı kadar, modern bir şehrin sahip olması gereken her şeyi bünyesinde bulunduran etkileyici bir şehir. Antik çağın ruhu ile günümüz batı uygarlığının hoş bir karışımı; tıpkı Büyük iskenderin Doğu ve Batı kültürünü kaynaştırmasıyla yarattığı kültür gibi. Bir bakıyorsunuz milattan öncesi mimari özellikleri yansıtan eşsiz güzellikteki bir yapı, bir bakıyorsunuz 21. yüzyılın ulaştığı noktanın bir göstergesi olan lüks bir alışveriş merkezi karşılıyor sizi.

Eski Yunan’da aşağı kente egemen olan yüksekte inşa edilmiş şehir anlamına gelen Akropolis’in en iyi örneklerinden birisi Atina Akropolis’i. Modern şehrin olağan kalabalığı ve şehrin gürültüsünü gerinizde bırakarak aşağı şehrin 100 m yüksekliğinde inşa edilmiş olan bu kente çıktığınızda, mistik bir havada tarihte bir yolculuğa çıkıyorsunuz. Antik Yunan döneminde bir mağbet, Hristiyanlık dönemimde bir klise, ve Osmanlı döneminde Venedik Saldırılarına karşı Türk garnizonunun mevzilendiği yer olan Tanrıça Athena adına yapılan en görkemli tapınak Parthenon’u görmek gerçekten çok heyecan verici. Kimilerine göre belki biraz ilginç gelebilecek beyazlıkta bir görüntü aşağı şehri uzaktan seyretmek, ama kesinlikle düşündürücü ve rahatlatıcı. Akropolis’in kuruluş amacına uygun, hoş bir duygu içinizi kaplar; sanki tüm şehir sizin hakimiyetinizde, uçsuz bucaksız bembeyaz yapılar Ege’nin serin sularıyla buluşur biraz ötede! Ve yukarı şehrin büyüsünden ayrılmak istemezsiniz.

Yaklaşık 400 yıl Osmanlı İmparatorluğu hakimiyetinde kalan, 1924 mübadelesinden sonra ülke nüfusunun 1/3’ ini Türkiye’den gelen Rumların oluşturduğu dikkate alındığında, Atina’da halen yüzyürmibin kişinin Türkçe konuşabilmesi şaşırtmaz sizi. Tüm bu tarihsel yakınlık sadece dille de sınırlı kalmaz; yemeğe, müziğe ve bazı toplumsal davranış biçimlerine de yansır. Rakının Uzi ile, Sazın Buzuki ile, Zeybek Oyununun Sirtaki ile ve Şiş kebabın Suvlaki ile olan kardeşliği gibi.

Tüm bu güzelliklerin sevecen ve canayakın insanlarla ruh bulduğu Atina’yı sevmemek pek olası değil ancak dar sokaklarında, tanıdık Yunan melodileri eşliğinde kaybolacak kadar zamanınız olmalı. Ölümsüz tanrıların koruduğu kendinizi fazlasıyla güvende hissedeceğiniz gizemli bir şehir Atina...

What we never talk about is its damages, what we pretend forgetting is the sorrows it brings about, but in fact the closest enemy to the people in the world is smoking!

Human Being has been struggling with various problems in order to survive from past to the present. Many people were killed by earthquakes when they were sleeping in the early hours of the morning, or many other were killed by the bombs at unexpected times. In spite of the measures, we can not protect ourselves from the natural events or we can not know when the terror will appear at the door! But we perfectly know that smoking is another reason that causes death of people. If you smoke, it is obvious that the risk of death becomes twice greater. In this case, what makes people kill themselves slowly? Who smokes? Children who want to look grown-up? Or people who want to act free? Is it a symbol of defiance?

I think most people begin to smoke due to these reasons. As it is known adolescence period is a very important time in people’s life. Adolescent can be affected from anything easily. They seem very curious and they want to be realized. They behave as the people they look up to. They wear the way as the people they admire. So they should be guided carefully and fastidiously by their family and teachers at that time. Otherwise, they may seem cool when they smoke but are they aware of the danger?

I think most smokers have some common attitudes. After being addicted, they become a little more selfish and they start to threat innocent people’s lives. They seem also wiseacre towards the people who want to help them. They always claim that people who dont smoke may die due to cancer or heart diseases. Yes that is true. But should we take care of the statistics or the exceptions when we take a desicion about our life?

As we live in a free world, forbidding something musn’t be a solution. Increasing the tax could be a good way to stop this addiction. However this tax should return to them as a health service for sure!


People can do anything they want. The only thing to do is to decide and then to believe yourself. We should never forget that our preferences and desicions take us to the places with flowers smelling beautiful or to the place with no taste and no smell.

To be or not to be depends on you!

I REACHED THE STARS

It was about two months ago. An amazing thing happened and one of my dreams came true!

Everybody has a desire of seeing different countries or cities in the world. Those who are determined make their dreams true someday. As one of my friends says if a person wants something badly enough then they will get what they want, all they have to do is believe in themselves and believe that one day it will happen. This is something like an invisible rule of the world.

I was dreaming to see two countries: Germany and Greece. It is obvious enough that both of them have played an important role in the Turkish history and in the world history. That was one of the reasons of my desire.

I was once so close to see Germany, but let’s say my luck didn’t let me to fulfill it! When it comes to the amazing thing I mentioned above, I got the chance to see “Athens”, the capital of Greece, the city of Athena, the center of entertainment or whatever you call it!

It is a city that presents you the values coming from the past and also anything that a modern city has. That reminded me what Great Alexander has created a new culture by merging East and West! Unbelievable buildings showing impressive architecture were everywhere in the city and of course the beauty of Acropolis takes you to a trip in the past. It was a great pleasure to watch the whole city from there. Unforgettable moments start and you don’t want to leave that view! You don’t want to wake up! It’s a strange feeling to watch the whole city is as excited as walking on its streets!

I woke up when I found myself sitting in a cafe in the center of the city. Sure Athens has some negativeness as all the modern cities have such as traffic jam and too many motorbikes. But if you can succeed to hear the song of the city, you don’t mind all the mess you may face! It isn’t so difficult; just let yourself to get lost!

I think the amazing buildings I saw would never seem that beautiful if people living in the city had no soul! Everything I saw was much more glorious thanks to its friendly people. I did know there was no problem between the Turkish people and the Greek people, but it was satisfied to see this truth with my own eyes!

Yes, Athens is an interesting city, to me twice interesting for Turks. Greek music can take you to wherever you want. It can make you smile or sensitive depending on your mood. It’s a very safe city too as it is defended by goddess located everywhere in the city. But beyond all of these; It is really bright like stars!

Zakkum Raindog (2 ay önce kaleme alınmış!)

bugun çok mutluyum, çünkü çok uzun zamandır beklediğim albumebugun itibariyle ulaştım..aksi gibi Ankara'da hava bugun şu son 3 ayın en soğuk günüydü, ama ben bir kere duymuşum album çıkmış, durur muyum :)kar da olsa kış da olsa alırım ben o albumu, bir kere taktım mı muhakkak olucak, amma uzattım yaa daha hangi album adını bile söylemedim, bi de ben ingilizce yazıcaktım şimdi farkettim, anadil gibi var mı?:) neyse hala yazmadığımı farkettim, bu bir grubun albumu, bir grup ki 2000 yılında onları ilk gördüğüm gölge bardan beri takip etmeye çalışırım, nicedir yalvarırım arkadaşlara ne olur ne olur bu gece gidelim onları dinleyelim derim, biraz geç çıkarlardı da kendileri geceyarısı gibi..en son kankam Işıkla gitmiştik Garage'dalardı.(Işık hakkını nasıl ödicem? ertesi gün iş ola ola evden 12 gibi evden çıktık :))) Ankara'nın en iyi brit pop, alternative rock yapan grubu diye bilinirler, öyle ki bir solistleri vardır kimileri brian molko'ya tercih ederler :) nam-ı değer Yusuf.. Marjinal tavırlarıyla ve sözleriyle tektir valla.. ilk gölgede çıktıklarında çok daha farklıydı, şu son bir iki yıl değişti biraz.. ama içindeki o cevher hep aynı kaldı..ben çok severimseverim onları çok :) Raindog derlerdi kendilerine ama şimdi Türkçe bir isimle çıkmak istedikleri için Zakkum oldular ve Zehr-i Zakkum da albumlerinin ismi..hayırlı ve de uğurlu olsun :) Teoman ve Seyyal Taner düetleri de var, ama benim fovorim 4 numara :)
